MASON TENDER / GENERAL LABORER

NOW HIRING!! Shore Custom Masonry needs a Mason Laborer ASAP!! You will must have a valid drivers license with your own car/truck and be able to pass a DOT physical including drug test. Must not be afraid of heights and will need to climb scaffolding. Must tolerate and work in all types of weather conditions. Need a strong able-bodied person. There is heavy lifting involved up to 80 lbs. We prefer someone willing to learn the trade. . Averaging 30-40 hours each week; weather permitting. The preferred candidate understands that they will get dirty, dusty, hot or cold, and rained on from time to time. We will supply water during the day. Construction Phase Administrator

OVERVIEW At Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF), our Construction Phase Administrators, play a critical role in the success of our projects. In coordination with the project manager, they are responsible for all construction-related functions, and for ensuring that projects are constructed per the contract documents and construction plans. In this role, we are looking for an individual who is eager to improve our built environment. They should be well versed in reading and understanding construction plans. Knowledge of contract administration development is required. Organizational skills and the ability to effectively serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and project managers are a must. The candidate selected will be responsible for building construction/rehabilitation administration. RESPONSIBILITIES • Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, and construction details to ensure compliance with contract and legal requirements. • Review project submittals, schedules, test reports, and close-out documents. • Conduct pre-construction and construction phase progress meetings and develop meeting minutes. • Assist with requests for information (RFIs) and seek input from the design team for clarifications. • Review all payment applications and coordinate approved applications for signature by the project architect. • Review change order requests and present to project architect for approval. EDUCATION & SKILLS The applicant shall possess at least a two-year (2) degree in architecture or engineering. The candidate must have experience with construction and construction documents. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is a plus but not required. Experience in compiling and editing specifications is also a plus but not required.
