Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asphalt Paving Foreman to oversee paving projects from inception to completion. Construction Foreman/Superintendent

Construction Foreman/Superintendent Job Description: The Construction Foreman / Superintendent will lead field operations on commercial renovation and build-out projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence. This role requires hands-on leadership, daily coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and client interaction. Construction Foreman/Superintendent Responsibilities: Field Operations & Leadership • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and subcontractors. • Manage daily schedules, site logistics, and ensure timely progress against milestones. • Interpret and enforce construction plans, drawings, and specifications. • Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and site access requirements. Safety & Compliance • Lead daily safety meetings (Jobsite Toolbox Talks) with all on-site personnel. • Complete and review daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for work tasks and evolving site conditions. • Enforce all company, client, and OSHA safety standards and protocols. • Monitor for and immediately address unsafe practices or hazards on site. • Maintain site safety documentation, including incident reports and inspection logs. • Coordinate with the Project Manager and Safety Director for audits, reporting, and corrective actions. Quality & Communication • Ensure quality craftsmanship and compliance with specifications and local codes. • Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, engineers, and inspectors. • Maintain daily job logs, document work progress, and manage punch list completion. • Provide input on project planning, scheduling, and material procurement. Construction Foreman/Superintendent Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. • Strong background in commercial renovation, interior buildouts, and occupied space construction. • Demonstrated commitment to construction safety and hands-on experience with JHAs and safety meetings. • OSHA 30 Certification or ability to obtain prior to start (preferred). • Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and construction documents. • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight schedules. • Proficiency with construction software or mobile apps (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Builder Trend). • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Working Conditions: • This is a field-based role requiring regular presence at job sites. • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary. • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials up to 50 pounds. • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. • Perform other job-specific duties as requested by the supervisor.
