Responsible for pouring and finishing various types of concrete, establishing grades, setting wood and metal forms; estimates labor and material costs; determines types and quantity of materials to be used in the construction/maintenance repair of aprons, slabs, driveways, curbs, gutters, foundations, walls, etc. Drives truck to haul crew, materials and equipment. Subjected to extended periods of physical exertion while shoveling and d igging and forming and finishing concrete. Good hand-eye coordination required in the operation of large, heavy trucks especially when operating in and around construction on rights-of-way and in tight situations.
