The Opportunity: Are you a master craftsman with a passion for creating stunning outdoor environments? We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our construction team. You will be a key player in bringing our designs to life, working on a variety of high-end residential projects. This is a hands-on role that requires a high degree of skill in specialized masonry applications for pools and hardscapes. Key Responsibilities: • Lay out and install pavers for patios, pool decks, and walkways, ensuring proper base preparation, grading, and pattern execution. • Construct structural and decorative walls using Concrete Masonry Units (CMU), including retaining walls, seating walls, and outdoor kitchen structures. • Apply stacked stone and brick veneers to create beautiful and durable finishes on walls, columns, water features, and outdoor fireplaces. • Install intricate waterline tile with precision, with specific expertise in handling delicate materials like porcelain and glass tile. • Properly apply industry-standard waterproofing membranes to pool shells and other wet-area structures to ensure long-term durability and prevent leaks. • Perform high-quality concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing for footings, pads, and other structural elements. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure projects are built to specification. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site at all times. • Collaborate effectively with project managers, designers, and other crew members to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard. Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional masonry experience, with a strong portfolio in swimming pool and outdoor living projects preferred. • Proven, hands-on experience with the following materials and techniques: • Porcelain & Glass Tile Installation • Waterproofing Membranes • Paver Installation (concrete, porcelain and natural stone) • CMU Wall Construction • Stacked Stone & Thin Veneer Application • Bricklaying • Concrete Forming & Finishing • Deep understanding of masonry principles, materials, and proper construction methods. • Ability to read and execute project plans accurately. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to quality. • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
