Skilled Construction Worker / General Laborer

Construction Superintendent

Overview An established general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead field operations for a high-end, $25M+ commercial project. Roughly 75% of the work remains, including site improvements, utility coordination, foundation tie-ins, and premium interior finishes. This role is ideal for a Superintendent who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments — particularly on tight sites with intricate logistics and high-end architectural details. The right candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and field coordination skills to ensure top-quality results. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all onsite construction activities from groundwork through final punch list, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are met. • Manage subcontractor performance, site logistics, equipment, and material deliveries within limited space constraints. • Direct the completion of civil, structural, and utility scopes, coordinating closely with design and engineering teams. • Lead the installation of premium architectural finishes, millwork, and specialty interiors with precision and attention to design intent. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite that reflects the professionalism of the team and the client’s expectations. • Serve as the primary field liaison for owners, architects, engineers, and vendors to resolve construction challenges and maintain progress. • Use Procore (or similar software) to track RFIs, submittals, daily reports, photos, change orders, and punch list items. • Partner with the Project Manager to maintain accurate schedules, manpower forecasts, and project documentation. • Support the transition into future project phases and potential additional developments on the same site. Qualifications • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or institutional construction. • Proven ability to manage projects with challenging site conditions and aggressive schedules. • Strong understanding of site development, foundation systems, and complex utility coordination. • Demonstrated success managing high-end interiors and architectural finish scopes. • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software such as MS Project. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse field teams and engage directly with clients. • Commitment to safety, quality, and on-time project delivery. Experienced Geotechnical Construction Laborer

We’re looking for senior tradespeople with geotechnical construction experience including: soil nailing, micropiles, shotcrete, rock drilling, grouting, and case drilling. This is a travel job with projects across the US. Crews work a 3-week on, 1-week off schedule. All of our work is geotechnical, including geohazard projects like landslide repair, mudslide repair and erosion control, where experienced tradespeople play a critical role in our success. • Working with a Superintendent and teammates, apply your skills effectively to get work done efficiently, safely and correctly. • Work in your specialty area but be willing and able to contribute any work that helps drive project success. • Travel across the US to do work. We travel on 3-week on, 1-week off or 5-day on, 2-day off schedules depending on the location of the crew member and the work. • Learn and apply new skills so you can do more: machines, soils technology, specialty techniques, leadership and problem-solving principles. • 3+ years of geotechnical or civil construction experience • Heavy equipment operation experience (skid steer, excavator, concrete/grout pump, etc.) • Equipment cleanup and maintenance. • Experience with casing, rock drilling or similar. • Experience with Shotcrete. • At least one year of traveling construction labor experience. • At least one year of working outside in all conditions. • Ability to understand and meet daily production targets. • A history of problem solving; the ability to grasp a problem, see a solution, and do whatever it takes to get the problem solved. • A history of complying with construction crew safety principles and tools. • Ability to be on time, all the time, every time.
