CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT Job Description: American Inc. is looking for a thorough and reliable superintendent to help manage and run multiple construction jobs. This person must be able to review approved proposals and cost spreadsheet(s) with the estimator and Project Managers. They must be comfortable scheduling work and have great follow up. Responsibilities · Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project. · Communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine the projects requirements. · Supervise and dispatch installers with proper information about project to ensure success. · Plan construction processes · Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback · Monitor and report on project progress · Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities · Implement safety and quality guidelines · Field measure for custom fabricated equipment and trim to insure proper fit at installation.
