Hardscape and Masonry Foreman

We are looking for a Hardscape/Masonry Foreman for our growing landscaping company. This is a critical role and will not be a 40-hour-a-week job. Job Summary: You will lead team members, train them on proper work methods, and oversee their work to ensure that it's in line with the goals and objectives of the property. Job costing every job to ensure profitability is a key part of this role. Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities: The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty. • Interacts with homeowners, crews, and managers. • Creating a schedule for each job/project. • Managing all costs related to the schedule, from ordering materials to controlling the hours (and overtime) of the crew. • Installation of irrigation systems, repair, installation, to include valves, timers, and backflows. • Installation and repair of low voltage lighting systems to include wiring and timer set up. • Planting – installation of plants, proper depth, placement, and handling, also includes staking and set up of trees. • Installation of artificial turf systems to include base, compaction, proper fit, and infill application. • Grading, trenching, shoveling, proper handling of the wheelbarrow, and hand tools. • Installation of weed block and rock. • Installation of concrete pavers to include base, prep, sand, and border, along with being able to use a level and string line effectively. • Keeping the job site clean and orderly at all times. • Responsible for making sure that the customer is satisfied. • Maintain a clean truck and keep tool inventory complete on each truck.
