Concrete Laborer

Job Summary: As a General Concrete Laborer, you will be an essential member of our on-site crew, working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. You will assist our skilled finishers and foremen with all aspects of concrete construction. The ideal candidate is physically capable, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn and grow within the concrete industry. For the right person, this role is the first step toward a long and successful construction career. Key Responsibilities: • Perform site preparation and cleanup duties, including digging, trenching, and grading. • Assist with the setup and breakdown of concrete forms and temporary structures. • Move and manage materials on the job site, including lumber, rebar, and concrete. • Assist in the pouring, spreading, and leveling of concrete. • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision. • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas to maintain a safe and organized job site. • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as directed by the site foreman. • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently. Qualifications and Experience: • Experience: 0 to 5 years in general construction or a related field. No experience is necessary for candidates with a strong desire to learn. • Work Ethic: Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive, can-do attitude. • Physical Fitness: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. • Team Player: Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team. • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
