What You’ll Do: Street Maintenance • Operate single-axle dump truck to transport materials like stone, sand, gravel, and supplies. • Use a light truck to carry tools and equipment to job sites. • Plow and salt streets during snow removal. • Operate large mowers to clear medians and right-of-ways. • Perform minor equipment repairs and routine servicing. • Assists with curb cutting and weed eating for special events. • Flag traffic for safety during operations. • Operate medium and heavy equipment when cross-trained. • Handle general maintenance and labor tasks as needed. • Follows OSHA and City safety standards. Stormwater • Operate single-axle dump truck to transport materials like stone, sand, gravel, and supplies. • Use a light truck to carry tools and equipment to job sites. • Plow and salt streets during snow removal. • Clear debris from manholes and catch basins. • Perform minor repairs and routine servicing on equipment. • Assist with manual labor on projects, including digging, raking, and leveling trenches. • Flag traffic to ensure safe operations. • Help with the construction and repair of manholes and catch basins. • Operates medium and heavy equipment when cross-trained. • Perform general maintenance and labor as required. • Ensure compliance with OSHA and City safety standards. What You'll Bring: We realize your time is valuable, so please ensure you meet the required minimum qualifications before applying. Our ideal candidate will bring the following: Required Minimum Qualifications • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call.
