Skillfully prioritizes their time • Communicates effectively and clearly • Disciplined in managing and executing multiple tasks and assignments Essential Functions and Abilities Required: • Provide full time support to the Project Superintendent with a focus on site requirements, safety oversight, production tracking, infection control containment, site cleanliness/organization, etc. • Organizes and solves critical issues and tasks on a daily basis. • Delivers services with a high standard of quality. • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Manages the jobsite safety program and keeps all project participants accountable to rules/regulations. • Support Superintendent in communications with trade foremen. • Capable of supporting Superintendent with detailed daily logs and photo logs of all project activities. • Support Superintendent with interim inspections required by jurisdictional authority. • Works with Project Team to maintain and clean and organized project. • Basic building skills such as concrete, rough carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall, etc. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Building Fundamentals – has experience in commercial construction means and methods, including layout, plan coordination, site logistics, and basic trade coordination. • Safety – is competent and knowledgeable of all major construction hazards through past training and experience. Has the ability to effectively identify hazardous conditions and unsafe acts or practices. Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team! This role will play a vital part in assisting our Project Management team on our US commercial construction projects. Construction Superintendent

Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. Headquartered in beautiful Carlsbad, CA, we are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market. We are looking for Construction Superintendent candidates to join our West Coast Field Operations team for military projects located in San Diego County. Headquarter/Office assignment will be in Carlsbad, but specific construction project could be anywhere in San Diego County. Superintendents are responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all construction work activities, assigned employees, and subcontractors on a project job site, to safely produce quality work, within the project requirements (i.e., RFP, plans, specifications, and proposal documents) targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Candidates local to projects will be given priority, though relocation to on-site management may be required for the Superintendent position.
