Bridge/Culvert Construction Crew Team Member

Hiring team members for our bridge/Culvert highway construction crew. Help us build Americas infrastructure! This job will require the individual to operate equipment, form/place concrete , place rebar, backfill excavations, compact and level earth using picks, shovels, or rakes. The individual will be required to operate power tools. Perform traffic control as needed. Operate heavy equipment. Assist driving piles/ bridge/ culvert construction. Desired Certifications: NCDOT Erosion Control Certified Installer NCDOT Certified Flagger Certified Crane Operator OSHA 10 HR Additionally the individual will be required to: Follow specific directions Perform a variety of duties Work within standards of accuracy Repeat tasks according to set procedures and safety requirements Stand or walk for long periods Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 80 pounds Climb up and down uneven terrain, and other objects Carry tools and equipment Stoop, kneel, crouch , twist, turn, and crawl, and see and hear (naturally or with correction) Pay will be based on experience. Must be able to pass a drug test! Must have drivers license. Job Description We are looking for a Head of Construction to lead and oversee the construction operations of our Asheville, NC division. This division is dedicated to reconstructing and rehabilitating traditional residential site-built homes as well as manufactured housing units (MHUs). In this position, you will be pivotal in driving the success of the North Carolina construction team. The candidate should be proactive, collaborative, and ready to build the North Carolina division from the ground up. You will establish processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and will manage both the construction operations and administrative functions of the department. Current Responsibilities • Create and update project schedules, including standardized templates. • Direct and oversee all construction activities for the North Carolina division. • Delegate tasks to superintendents, assistant construction managers, and field runners. • Familiarize yourself with client requirements and regulations to ensure full compliance in all projects. • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and results-driven strategies. • Collaborate with procurement teams to streamline material packages. • Screen subcontractors and monitor their early performance to determine suitability for larger-scale projects. • Mediate and resolve conflicts involving subcontractors or team members. • Provide clear and consistent progress updates to the client and company leadership. • Prioritize and expedite critical projects as needed. • Ensure field teams provide complete and accurate documentation to the compliance director. • Monitor cost-to-complete and WIP reports to ensure projects meet profitability targets. • Conduct thorough reviews of subcontractor invoices before final approval.
