MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to read blueprints and perform various construction tasks. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety on the job site. The Mason will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, and stone. Duties • Construct walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, blocks, or stones. • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications. • Use hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively. • Perform renovations and repairs on existing structures. • Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects. • Execute metal stud framing as required by project designs. • Estimate materials needed for construction projects accurately. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety. Requirements • Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Proficiency in frame carpentry and hardscape installation. • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. • Strong skills in blueprint reading and construction estimating. • Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
