Assets include solar, BESS, EV charging infrastructure, microgrids, energy efficiency, and utility-scale power generation projects. Role Description Whetstone Power is seeking a full-time Solar Construction Project Manager to join its team in Alamosa, CO. The Solar Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction projects for solar energy facilities from inception to completion. The candidate will manage contractor performance, track project costs and schedules, ensure compliance with permits and regulations, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including the owner’s representative, contractors, engineers, and suppliers. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable. • At least 5 years of experience in managing construction of renewable energy facilities, specifically solar PV. • Experience with construction management software and tools. • Experience with regulatory requirements related to construction projects, permits, and safety. • Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work outdoors and travel to different job sites as needed. • OSHA 30-hour certification will be an added advantage. • Experience with operations and maintenance of solar projects will be a plus. • Experience with Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages and meeting requirements
