(Consistent overtime is not available). Occasional overtime on weekdays / weekends is to be expected. IF PART TIME: · Flexible work week (20 hours minimum). · Any day / time combination (within the hours of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM). BENEFITS (FULL TIME POSITION ONLY): 401K (12) - Paid holidays (2) - Weeks paid vacation QUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVE: · 3 - 5 years of proven machine shop experience. · Ability to work in and maintain a clean work environment. · Experience with manually operated machine tools such as: • Manual Lathes • Bridgeport Milling Machines • Horizontal Milling Machines (Kearney & Trecker) • Vertical Milling Machines • Drill Presses • Radial Drill Presses • Surface Grinders • Hydraulic Presses • Shaper and Broaching Equipment • Horizontal Band-Saws • Vertical Band-Saws · Experience with machinist tools and how to utilize them properly. · Consistent and reliable attendance. · Ability to hold dimensional tolerances. · Flexibility to adapt to different machine tools (you will not be running the same job, machine or machine type every day). · Familiar with a variety of materials and how they machine such as: Stainless Steel, Steel, Aluminum, Bronze, Brass, and Plastics. MUST BE ABLE TO: · Create setups for machining procedures using shops resources. · Read blue prints. · Listen to and follow employers’ directions. · Make a part directly from a sample (no drawing provided). · Work independently. · Stay focused on the task at hand. · Pass a drug screening test. • A skills test will be provided before hire.
