CNC Machinist/Programmer

Seeking experienced CNC Machinist/programmer - help set up and operate CNC lathe and mill. Will work with Lead Machinist to see daily jobs are completed on schedule. 1st Shift - Experience required. 5 years. CNC Programming is a must, currently use Inventor/Fusion 360. Perform 1st piece inspection, secondary operations, maintain tolerances, adjust offsets, Frequent set ups and change overs. Manual machining is a plus. CNC machinist duties: • Operate cnc equipment as needed to complete job orders • Program new and improve existing jobs utilizing Fusion 360. • Work closely with machine shop to schedule work assignments • Make sure equipment is kept in operating order • Ensure that all company policies are followed • Work closely with other departments in all plants to maximize productivity • Participate in the generation of new ideas to increase quality and productivity through different communication methods • Strive every day to make our facilities a safer place to work or visit • Keep work areas neat and clean • Perform all other assigned duties • Responsible for meeting deadlines • Coordinates program start-ups in manufacturing, assists in troubleshooting and provide recommendations for the selection of cutting tools.
