Monitor the machine and adjust as needed to complete production goals. Performs other duties directed by production manager and supervisors. Primary Responsibilities: • Load the correct labels, bottles/cans, glue, carriers etc. into machines. • Ensure equipment is ready for startup. • Verify flavor and size according to production schedule. • Must do visual inspection of boxes. • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as needed. • Watch flow of materials, i.e. Cans/bottles/boxes/trays, etc. clearing jams if necessary. • Monitor the machine while running. Check to see that all bottles, cans are packed into the box correctly. • Clear your machine of all products at the end of each run and at the end of your shift.. • Is responsible to report any quality issue to the QC team and Production Manager. • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized workspace at all times • Reports food safety and quality issues to QC Supervisor and Production Manager • Accomplishes organization goals by demonstrating our company values: Integrity, Empowerment, Passion for Winning, Creativity, and Community. • Other duties as assigned Education / Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. 3+ years working on a canning line preferred. Communication Skills / Requirements: Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers and other employees. Have active listening skills, attention to detail and follow-through. Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, an organized approach to work and a positive attitude.
