Job Title: CNC Machinist About This Role We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join our team. As a CNC machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machine tools to perform various types of machining operations such as milling, drilling, tapping/thread milling, boring, and turning in order to meet print specifications. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC machine tools to perform various types of machining operations • Verify products meet customer requirements and product specifications using precision measuring equipment • Work to ±.001" tolerance and 16 microfinish when necessary • Write/edit programs using both G and M coded controls (experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls preferred) • Troubleshoot challenges with support of on-site engineering • Routinely read and comprehend written instructions, technical procedures, prints, sketches, and bills of material • Work in a team environment by assisting the CNC Programmer as necessary to develop and/or test run programs • Use advanced mathematical skills to calculate proper speed and feed rates • Operate crane or assist with the rigging and moving of parts • Maintain clean work area and daily housekeeping duties • Collaborate and communicate with opposite shift through face-to-face carryover and log books Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: • High school equivalency and four years of relevant experience or an associate's degree in Machining Tool and Die or equivalent training plus two years of on-the-job experience • Experience machining parts greater than 8-feet diameter and 10-tons is preferred, as well as experience with different machining attachments Benefits We offer market-leading pay, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and service-based retirement contributions with additional 401k match.
