Position Summary: AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Jupiter, Florida that is a leading aftermarket service provider for multi-platform OEM gas turbine power plants worldwide. Essential Functions: • Machine parts to specifications using CNC multi-axis equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, or EDM. • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers. • Measure and visually inspect completed components in process to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments based on drawing or work instruction requirements. • Set-up, adjust and operate all of the manual and CNC machining centers in order to perform precision machining operations. • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachment accessories, and materials onto machines. • Monitor speed and feed rates during the machining process to complete machining efficiently and within tolerances. • Study sample parts, drawings, or engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate product and determine product dimensions and tolerances. • Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation for machining work based on the work instruction. • Maintain industrial machines per the required daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance schedule. • Confer with engineering, technical lead, supervisor, and manufacturing personnel in order to exchange technical information. • Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tooling. • Perform cleaning requirements at the end of each shift. • Maintain and improve 5s standards for the work-center. Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • CNC programming certification / documented training is strongly preferred. • Must complete EHS-assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix. • 5+ years of experience in the industry with specific skills related to manual and CNC machining of multi-axis machines. • Familiar with Fanuc Controls and has programming experience with multi-axis CNC equipment. • Working knowledge of GD&T is required. • Experience in computer skills to include Excel, Word, and email platforms. • Experience in electronic labor tracking databases. • Must be self-motivated and possess a demonstrated ability to handle multiple issues in a responsive and decisive manner. • Experience in quality systems. Prior experience working under formal environments such as NADCAP, ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality programs. • Must be a detail-oriented, high-energy, self-starter with the ability to drive the successful completion of projects within specified time frames. • Strong communication skills required both verbal and electronic. • Strong quality, attention to detail, and customer focus skills. • Process and Team oriented; Multicultural sensitivity. • Trustworthy, quick learning, innovative, and reliable.
