Job Function: Set up and operate one or more CNC/manual machines. Machine parts to the engineering drawing. Perform duties in designated areas as required. Specific Responsibilities: • Set up and operate one or more of the CNC and non-CNC machines as required. • Select jigs, fixtures, tools (and make modifications to each as required to affect a more efficient job run), speeds and feeds, according to routing if applicable specifications in layout book to run a wide variety of parts and materials. • Inspect work to assure that close tolerances are met using a variety of gauges and measuring devices. • Maintain production records. • Maintain clean and orderly work areas. • Attain quality, quantity, and safety standards. Experience: Minimum one year CNC machining experience. Recognized as an accomplished machinist.
