Summary Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure machinery produces high-quality products. Essential Job Duties • Ensure machinery runs smoothly and is properly maintained including shot blast, metal shears, saws, and brakes. • Operate machinery and equipment according to safety protocols and instructions. • Move materials and ensure paperwork and parts are maintained with each work order for proper routing to next area. • Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance, report immediate concerns to Maintenance. • Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor. • Comply with all safety and health regulations. • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area. Required Qualifications - Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.) • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations. • Ability to take accurate measurements using a variety of devices such as tapes, and rulers. • Previous work experience is preferred.
