Primary Responsibilities: • Ability to safely run machine shop equipment. • Experience with Manual Lathes and Mill. • Fabricate and/or repair damaged parts. • Fabricate from a print or description a part. • Safely work in a shop environment and follow all company safety guidelines. • Read and understand service materials. • Clean and maintain work area. • Work assigned overtime as needed. Additional Responsibilities: • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. • Additional duties as assigned by manager. MACHINIST/ PROGRAMMER

Machinist/Programmer Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Machinist and CNC Programmer to work in the machine shop here at Thrush. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner. Report To Operations Manager Essential Job Functions • Must have a background and be proficient at CNC programming • Perform all CNC programming for both mill and lathe parts in the machine shop • Create program setup sheets and instructions • Aid in fixturing and work holding of parts for machining • Recommend tooling required to machine parts • Work on time saving/cost reduction projects to increase shop efficiency • Train others on CNC G-code programming and use of CAM software • Be a team player willing to be hands on with fellow employees on the shop floor • Be willing to operate a machine occasionally for prototyping activities • Assist leadership with the scheduling and maintenance of equipment • Have good foundation in metrology, measurement tools, and measurement of parts • Proven ability to create complex setups, programs, and operations for various mill and lathes.
