Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Operator with experience operating Mazak laser cutting equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain Mazak laser cutting machines to process sheet metal and other materials. • Set up equipment, adjust cutting parameters, and ensure proper tooling and materials are loaded. • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine settings and production requirements. • Perform quality checks to verify accuracy of cuts and part specifications. • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with laser equipment as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and company standards. • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and optimize output. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience operating Mazak or similar laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of laser machine setup, maintenance, and basic programming. • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications. • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and industrial manufacturing processes. • High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality control.
