Summary/Objective: The CNC machinist operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. The CNC machinist loads parts in the machine, cycles the machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment and adheres to our Quality Standards. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Performs all assigned machine shop operations. • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee. • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition in accordance with Shift Hand-Off procedures and follows prescribed Safety procedures. • Regularly performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks. • Performs Quality inspection of machined products, and documents results according to Quality Standards. • Completes and maintains Quality paperwork for parts. • Assists in other work areas to perform fabrication, lay-out of parts, filtration of coolant and Burnishing tasks. • Follow all company rules, Quality standards and Safety policies (OSHA). • Ensure production schedule completion and facilitate quality paperwork. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be load. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. The team member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling objects that are 25 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager. Travel There is no travel expected for this position Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school. • Minimum one year of related experience. • Know How to Read a Measuring Tape , Micrometers and Calipers Preferred Education and Experience • Two years or more of related experience Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Production Operator

$18.76/Hour plus an additional $1.50/Hour shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Operates work station to assemble components as dictated by the manufacturing systems and processes and to a build specification. • Performs repetitive operations of loading and unloading component parts and assemblies into process modules. • Runs at established efficiency standards and ensures consistency with current process sheets maintaining established cycle times to ensure production output is met. • Ensures quality, performs visual and gauged inspections, and verifies proper assembly of all parts as directed by work instructions; work is subject to process and final inspection. • Keeps non-conforming material in designated areas and follow established procedures for assembly • Ensures all equipment and the work areas are cleaned daily based on the total preventative maintenance schedule and free of safety hazards. • Performs all job functions in a safe manner following all established safety guidelines and procedures, notifies the Supervisor immediately of any safety concerns, only operates work stations after full training of operation. • Provides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor. Bonus: This plan provides a financial reward of up to 5% of gross earnings, when plant performance for Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery meet or exceed the established targets.
