Leading manufacturer of complex orthopedic instruments is seeking CNC machinists (4 and 5 axis mills and Swiss lathes) for our clean, well-lit and air conditioned modern machine shop. Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 / Hourly Schedule: • 10 hours • Night shift Shifts Available: • 2nd shift • Monday - Thursday • 4:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. • 3rd shift • Sunday 9:30 p.m. - 6 a.m. • Monday - Thursday 7:30 p.m. - 6 a.m. Job Duties: • Set-up and operation of CNC machines • Perform complex, first-run set ups • Select proper tools, equipment and materials • Use all precision measuring equipment to perform in-process and final dimensional checks • Select and use correct tooling, fixtures and gauges for set-up Qualifications/Skills: • One to two years machining experience (Preferred) • Competency in the use of precision measuring equipment • Ability to read, understand and interpret blue prints • Competency in shop math • Ability to understand and apply SPC and GD&T a plus Experience: • 1 year in Machining (Preferred) • 1 year as Machinist (Preferred)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Machinist role at Action Machine. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machines, and reading engineering drawings to produce parts within specified tolerances. Standard Work Hours Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime and some Saturdays as workload requires.
