Production Hours Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience programming and operating CNC machines and other machining tools to fabricate high-quality metal parts or products. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Job Responsibilities: • Program and operate CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other machinery to produce metal parts or products • Set up machines according to job specifications, including selecting appropriate tools, loading materials, and adjusting machine settings • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate machining • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to maintain optimal performance • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during machining processes • Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for part inspection • Move fixtures in and out of machines and perform machine setups using hand tools • Deburr parts using a deburring knife, hand grinder, or buffer • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and blueprints • Safely operate forklifts and hoists for material handling • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and company policies • Perform any additional duties as needed • This position is not limited to the responsibilities listed above* Job Requirements: • Proven experience in CNC programming and machining. • Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). • Strong knowledge of product quality and inspection techniques. • Ability to read and troubleshoot using blueprints. • Basic computer skills, including the ability to scan and correct errors. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and bend, twist, and squat repetitively throughout the workday. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
