Cnc Mill Machinist

Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift CNC Mill Machinist who will be responsible for operating various horizontal and vertical mills. The ideal candidate will expertly read and interpret in-depth blueprints, complete offsets, change tooling, and utilize precision measurement tools. You will work with tight tolerances and ensure parts meet client specifications. Experience with Fanuc controls and G/M Code is essential. Responsibilities • Operate and maintain various horizontal and vertical CNC mills. • Read and interpret detailed blueprints accurately. • Perform offsets and tooling changes as necessary. • Utilize precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy. • Work with tight tolerances of +/- .0008. • Ensure all parts meet specified client requirements. Essential Skills • 5+ years of experience with CNC Mills (Vertical or Horizontal). • Proficient in working with Fanuc controls and G/M Codes. • Experience with tolerances of +/- .0008. • Ability to perform setups and adjustments. • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints. • Experience with micrometers, calipers, and depth mics. • Ability to maneuver 350 lb castings with hoist assistance. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience using dial gauges. • NIMS Certification in CNC Machining. • Ability to read and understand program language. Why Work Here? Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to operate a Single Spindle Twin Turret Lathe. The role involves manufacturing firefighting equipment, including handline nozzles, apparatus valves, fittings, industrial valves, adapters, caps, and plugs. Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC Lathe machining centers, dedicating 30% of your time to setups and change outs, and 70% to monitoring machine operations, performing inspections on completed parts, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. • Execute 1 to 3 setups per shift, handling runs of 20 to 200 parts. • Operate Okuma-Howa Lathes, including Bar Feeder Lathes, Single and Twin Turret Lathes, and Custom-Thread Lathes, often running two machines simultaneously. • Utilize micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet client specifications. • Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, and fixtures on machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. • Read, understand, and edit programs for Bar Feeders. • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC lathes according to the work schedule. • Maintain a tolerance of +/- .002. Essential Skills • 3+ years of experience in setup, change outs, offsets, and operation of CNC Lathe machinery. • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints to check parts, with some blueprints containing up to 100 dimensions. • Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. • Experience working with tight tolerances up to +/- .002. • Understanding of G & M codes for tooling changes, 5 position disc, and offset adjustments. • Ability to lift 50 pounds. Job Description: Brown and Sharpe Operator $750 signing bonus Horizons HRS, Ltd. is looking for an experienced, trustworthy, and detail-focused individual for a Brown and Sharpe Operator for our client in Elkhart, Indiana The ideal candidate should have an exemplary work ethic and meet minimum requirements and should also be motivated, well-organized, comprehensive, and comfortable in various environments. The candidate should maintain production standards and improve productivity without compromising quality Shift: 1st sift Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm. **Occasional mandatory overtime Starting Rate: $18 an hour, depending on Experience and knowledge.
