Pay: $17/hr Key Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical data to determine specifications and setup requirements. • Set up and operate gear grinding or spline grinding machines with indexing equipment. • Select and install appropriate tooling, cams, index plates, and grinding wheels. • Monitor machine operations and adjust feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut. • Inspect finished parts using micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to ensure quality standards. • Perform routine maintenance on machines, including checking oil and coolant levels. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
