CNC Operator - Mills & Lathes

CNC Operator – Mills & Lathes We’re looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join a precision machine shop team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality machined parts. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes for short and long-run production - Load and verify programs, adjust offsets, and maintain tight tolerances - Select, preset, and change tooling as required for production jobs - Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM - Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers - Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment - Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety/quality standards Qualifications: - 2+ years of CNC machining experience (multi-axis a plus) - Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge - Skilled in basic program editing and tool offset adjustments - Proficient with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques - Ability to work independently and as part of a production team - Quality-focused, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented For those interested, apply by submitting a resume or contact McKenzie McGranor directly at or for a confidential conversation.
