• Gloversville, New York • Manufacturing • 15911 • On-Site • Aftermarket Job Description Overview Summary/Objective: The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, consistent product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Overtime requirements on Friday will be required to meet production demands as necessary, typically Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday: 4:00 pm - 2:00am. Overtime requirements on Friday will be required to meet production demands as neccessary, typically Friday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Travel Minimal to no travel required. Required Education and Experience • Minimum of a high school education. Preferred Education and Experience • Manufacturing/industry experience. Additional Eligibility Qualifications None. The ideal candidate has experience operating both CNC and manual equipment, along with the ability to program, document, and inspect components. This role focuses on maintaining material flow in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring component quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
