We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as CNC Machinist in Poestenkill, NY. The CNC Machinist is responsible for the programming, setup and operation of CNC machine tools. Responsible for all quality aspects and productivity of part production. Responsible for all machine maintenance and safety initiatives. Here are some of the responsibilities of the position: • Responsible for reading and following engineering drawings and work order instructions for all machining work. Responsible for the programming, setup, and operation of each CNC machine tool. • Responsible for manual machining tasks and various post machining operations (polishing, grinding, sanding) • Work with the Engineering department to improve designs and manufacturability of all parts. CNC Machinist - WEEKEND DAY SHIFT

WEEKEND DAY SHIFT - SATURDAY/SUNDAY CNC Machinist/Operator Position Summary: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Tasks • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). • Machine programming, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. • Sets-up the machine adjusting jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; trimming heads. • Must be able to frequently lift and maneuver 50lbs. as well as have the ability to climb and bend with ease to load feed mechanism and put stock into position. • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards. • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. CNC Lathe Machine Set-Up / Operator Job Description Job title CNC Swiss Style Screw Machine Set-Up / Operator Reports to Department Lead Job purpose Set up, monitor, and use CNC lathes to cut plastic parts. Duties and responsibilities • Set up – Setup CNC Lathe Machines • Machining – Download computer programs to the machines. Load materials into machines. Machine parts. • Monitor & Adjust – Monitor machine operation for problems. Move controls to adjust cutting speeds, feed rates and depth of cut. Working conditions This job is a Full Time Position Monday thru Thursday 7AM to 5PM. Physical requirements Candidate must be able to lift 40lb. Standing for long periods of time.
