Responsible for maintaining the highest standard of safety and order in all areas of the Lining Department. This job requires frequent interactions with other employees. This position will report to the Lining Shift Supervisor. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work Safely at all times including proper LOTO of machines and use of proper PPE • Promote 5S maintenance & improvements • Be a positive role model to the team • Strong troubleshooting skills including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatics systems • Maintain machines and associated equipment in optimum condition • Make necessary and / or routine machine adjustments and repair equipment to provide continuous production • Responsible for knowing how to operate all machines and equipment to understand their function and repair them • Responsible for making tooling changes (size) within a reasonable amount of time • Be RESULTS oriented using visual KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) • Be multi-skilled to support team members as needed • Develop and follow the standardized work instructions to minimize machine downtime, • Seek out assistance from department supervisor/manager/team leaders as required • Support and participate in continuous improvement efforts • Be a good listener and understand issues before coming up with solutions (root cause analysis) SKILLS REQUIRED: • High school diploma or GED preferred • Knowledge of Basic Hand Tools (Some Examples: Allen Keys, Safety Cutters, Plyers) • Mechanical Knowledge a plus • Knowledge of molding and lining operations a plus • Equivalent combined education and experience will be considered PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Required to walk, sit and/or stand for up to 11.75 hours per day. • May be required to reach with hands and arms. • As needed, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs and lift to 50 lb Abides by our core values: • Integrity – We have the courage to act with the highest level of integrity, even when no one is watching.
