Job Setup and Run: Independently set up and run jobs, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling and fixtures. Analyze job orders, drawings, and specifications to determine the best machining methods and sequences. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to verify conformance to specifications. Identify and resolve issues related to dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. Collaborate with quality control team to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve any technical challenges. Provide guidance and training to junior machinists to enhance overall team skills and capabilities. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to CNC machining. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in G&M Code programming. Proven experience working with Tsugami Machines and other CNC equipment. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of job shop environment dynamics and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
