HVAC / Hotside Technician

We are seeking a HVAC Hotside Technician that specializes in the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems, particularly those involving hot water or steam heating. The primary responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. MUST HAVE: • 3-5 years commercial HVAC package units, refrigeration, ice machine service experience along with hot side kitchen equipment like ovens, microwaves etc. • Understanding of electrical wiring schematics and board replacements. • Ability to diagnose HVAC and Refrigeration and hot side problems & repair equipment in a timely manner. • EPA certification. • Valid Texas Drivers License including a clean driving record. MUST BE: • Able to report to work on time with dependable work history. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. • Willing to be on call and work overtime when needed, especially during the months of April thru October. • Willing to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background. HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities • Responsible for servicing and maintaining residential and commercial heating and cooling systems (equipment to include but not limited to split systems up to 50 tons, mini split systems, RTUs up to 25 tons, AHUs up to 25 tons, and EFs) • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and replace broken or defective equipment components when required • Conduct routine preventative maintenance • Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites • Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met Schedule • Monday through Friday • Overtime available; Saturday work if/when required • On call rotation schedule Requirements • Valid social security card and driver’s license; clean motor vehicle record and background check • 5+ years (MINIMUM) of residential / commercial HVAC service experience • Good verbal and written communication skills Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Lead HVAC Service Technician must be skilled craftsman in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC, sheet metal ductwork, pipefitting, and/or mechanical equipment servicing industry.
