HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in the field. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime. • Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. • Drive company van to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws. Qualifications • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in field service or appliance repair. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration and air conditioning technology. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design and installation. • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on equipment repair and efficient service delivery. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. • Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training is a plus but not mandatory.
