Position Title: Lead HVAC Technician (Service, Maintenance, Install, and Sales) Location: West Palm Beach, with our warehouse based in Port Saint Lucie. This position will lead and be responsible for servicing West Palm Beach customers exclusively. You will have the support of a full-time office team to handle scheduling, dispatching, customer interactions, and parts ordering. As well as a team of technicians on the Treasure Coast to assist with bigger jobs. Only one required meeting at the warehouse each week. Responsibilities: • Lead HVAC service, maintenance, installation, and sales efforts for residential and commercial clients in the West Palm Beach area. • Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions promptly and accurately. • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and longevity. • Install new HVAC systems accurately and efficiently. • Provide expert consultation on HVAC system upgrades or replacements to customers. • Safely perform all tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures. • Wire low voltage and high voltage lines to HVAC systems. • Install copper refrigerant lines, including soldering and brazing. • Install duct systems. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned company vehicle. • Take full ownership of the West Palm Beach customer base, ensuring superior service and quick response times. • Proactively engage with customers for potential sales opportunities and solutions for system improvements. • Lead and guide junior technicians, ensuring quality work and adherence to company standards. Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree or trade school certification preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service, maintenance, installations, and sales. • Proficiency in wiring low voltage and high voltage lines. • Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership qualities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred. • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize a personal and team workload. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Valid and clean driver's license. • Experience with ServiceTitan or the ability to quickly adapt to new technology. Qualifications: • 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting in an engineering or maintenance discipline. • One of the following: Journeyman Electrical License, Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, or Journeyman Plumber License. • Experience working with blueprints and schematics. • Valid driver’s license. • A general understanding of electro-mechanical equipment. • Rudimentary ability to utilize hand-operated construction equipment. • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and kneel/bend/stoop and perform strenuous labor for extended periods of time. Working Conditions: Some exposure to elevated degrees of high heat, noise, dust, dirt and/or areas requiring infection control. Requires meeting deadlines for completion of work on a daily basis.
