You'll take the initiative, seek out projects, and openly accept other duties as assigned.You'll have excellent communication skills.You thrive on the spark that happens when collaboration leads to innovation and enjoy a team environment.You continually look for ways to improve your skillset and are always open to receiving feedback.What You'll DoEssential Functions:Perform installation, troubleshooting, and general repair and maintenance for HVAC-related systems.Experience repairing and maintaining boilers, chillers, VAVs, split systems.Coordinate contractors to perform major repairs on HVAC systems.Assist with troubleshooting and repair of plumbing systems including unclogging drains, repair and replacement of fixtures, and repair of leaks in water supply and sanitary drains.Assist with general maintenance of campus both exterior and interior.Other Job-Related Duties as Assigned by the Supervisor: The omission of duties does not exclude it from the position if similar, related, or a logical assignment to the job. Education and Experience: • 2 years of experience in equipment repairs, service industry experience appliance repair, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC preferred. • EPA Type II License (Preferred) • EPA Universal Certification (Preferred) • High School diploma or equivalent • Accredited Technical/Vocational School preferred. • Proficient with MS Office Suite. • Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (e.g., EPA, CFESA) preferred Physical Requirement: • Able to lift 75-100 pounds, requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling and routine lifting/carrying. • Climb ladders and working at various heights. • Repetitive hand movements when constantly using tools.
