We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) services. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and leadership abilities to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair operations. Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the HVAC Installation team , service technicians, & sales technicians • Driving department productivity by ensuring a steady flow of work, collaborating with sales technicians and service technicians to identify and close leads, and training staff to recognize additional sales opportunities • Lead all hvac installations by supervising, and coordinating all installations, ensuring alignment with company goals, profitability, and operational excellence • Lead, mentor, and hold accountable the HVAC technicians & installers • Oversee the performance and development of installation teams, ensuring alignment with company goals • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for team improvement • Train team members to identify and act on sales opportunities that may have been missed during the initial sales process • Support supervisors in resolving complex technical and customer service challenges • Monitor daily and weekly schedules to ensure efficient resource allocation and adherence to timelines • Collaborate with supervisors and coordinators to address resource shortages, scheduling conflicts, and project delays • Work with Installation teams to ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are procured and ready for deployment • Conduct field visits to observe project progress and address issues proactively • Work closely with Home Comfort Advisors (HCAs) and service technicians to identify and close leads when needed • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure a steady flow of leads from the service department • Develop strategies to maintain consistent department productivity and ensure the team stays busy • Train team members to identify upselling opportunities during installations • Identify inefficiencies in installation workflows and implement solutions to improve productivity • Collaborate with supervisors to establish best practices for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction • Collaborate with supervisors to ensure customer expectations are exceeded on every project • Monitor labor and material budgets to ensure the profitability of the installation department • Review project margins and implement corrective actions for underperforming projects • Review and approve timecards, project documentation, and job completion reports • Provide regular updates to the General Manager on project performance, team productivity, and operational goals Required Qualifications • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HVAC installations & service , with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • NATE Certifications (Core, AC Install, Air Distribution, Gas Heat). • Extensive knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems, tools, installation processes, and codes. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements. • Valid driver's license..
