Duties • Sell and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to diagnose issues with HVAC equipment. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently. • Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs on equipment. • Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as needed. • Provide field service support, responding promptly to service calls and customer inquiries. • Document all service activities accurately in accordance with company policies. Experience • Licensed (EPA-608) and/or 2 plus years of experience preferred • Proven experience as a Service Technician in residential HVAC field. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex schematics and technical manuals. • Familiarity with refrigerate systems and equipment repair techniques. • Experience working with various HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Must have own tools. • Installers are welcome to apply for installer positions.
