About the Role: As an AC Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems. You’ll ensure all HVAC equipment is operating safely and efficiently, helping to keep our residents comfortable year-round. You will also perform electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs; as well as prepare apartments for new resident move ins. Detailed Job Functions: • Understanding of drain and lineset connection requirements • Cut, bend, or thread pipe for gas, air, or water lines • Move or fit heavy objects • Understand construction specifications • Assemble and install pipe sections, fittings, and HVAC equipment • Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand • Pressure test piping system or equipment for leaks • Adhere to safety procedures • Perform safety inspections in construction or resource extraction setting • Maintain or repair work tools or equipment • Braze or Solder copper tubing or components together • Use hand or power tools • Use pressure gauges • Use oral or written communication techniques • Determine installation, service, or repair needed • Determine material or tool requirements Required Education, Experience and Qualifications • Current Licensed Technician, or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC systems. • Holds an EPA Certification. • Current Valid Driver’s License. • Required 3 years of experience in HVAC service • Ability to troubleshoot, possessing mechanical and diagnostic skills. • Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.
