This position will involve changing out and installing various types of HVAC equipment, including split systems, chillers, boilers, package systems, etc. Sheet metal installation ductwork, equipment, and other materials in a new or existing building to provide heating, cooling, and ventilation. The work may consist of new construction, renovation, and industrial projects. Installation leadman work with a helper/apprentice with minimal direct supervision . Due to extreme growth, we seek experienced HVAC Commercial installers This position has working conditions that expose you to various weather conditions and may require you to work outside regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications include: • Valid driver's license · • EPA Certified • 5 years of experience in the commercial installation trade with sheet metal experience · • Must be able to perform simple math calculations and read a tape measure to layout work, install hangers, and other related work · • Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, specs, and submittals · • Must be able to lead and train helpers/apprentices in the installation of ductwork, equipment, & various other components · • Must be able to follow detailed instructions from supervisor and other management personnel · • Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision • Must be able to work a 40-hour work week with occasional overtime and travel if needed · • This position requires working in diverse conditions, including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage). · • The position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs, frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.
