Overview: Presbyterian is seeking an HVAC Tech to join our team. Responsible for the repair, service, and maintenance of HVAC systems within a healthcare facility. Ensures optimal system performance to maintain a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role supports the continuous operation of facility utilities and emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance system reliability. (This differential may be adjusted or discontinued based on business requirements.) Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and systems, including building automation software • Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems across assigned zones • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot heating and cooling systems • Use HVAC test equipment such as gauges, airflow hoods, automation tools, and hand tools • Read and interpret blueprints, codes, and technical documents • Execute preventive maintenance procedures per Facility Services SOPs • Perform repairs, lubrication, and adjustments to hospital equipment • Conduct periodic rounds to monitor system performance and identify issues • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used • Evaluate and monitor building and utility system performance • Recommend improvements to reduce maintenance costs and enhance efficiency • Understand and support department operating budgets • Serve as a resource to departments within assigned zones • Prioritize tasks independently while following policies and schedules • Stay current with technical knowledge through training and in-service meetings • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital policies • Support organizational values and strategic goals Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required. • 3 to 5 years of general maintenance or specialized mechanical trade experience preferably in Healthcare industry. • Must have a valid NM drivers license and be insurable. Facilities Maintenance Technician - Espanola, NM

Description: The Facilities Maintenance Technician I responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the Credit Union's facilities, equipment, and grounds. This position ensures that all locations are safe, clean, and operational to support an excellent member and employee experience. Salary: The salary range for this position is $19.32 - $24.15 an hour. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a rate between the range minimum and the range maximum, depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Level I: • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, equipment, furniture, and fixtures. • Assist with monitoring and upkeep of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report issues or safety concerns to Facilities leadership. • Support preventative maintenance schedules and recordkeeping. • Assist in maintaining building security systems (access control, alarms, cameras) under supervision. • Respond to service requests from staff in a timely and professional manner. • Maintain clean and organized work areas, storage spaces, and mechanical rooms. • Assist with coordination of vendors and contractors during repair or service visits. • Perform basic grounds keeping tasks such as trash removal, light landscaping, and snow/ice management (as applicable). • Support set-up and tear-down of furniture, equipment, and supplies for meetings, training, and events. • Adhere to Credit Union policies, safety procedures, and compliance requirements. • Assists with the audits and maintenance of SDS compliance and record keeping. • Assists with asset management and annual audits. • Assist with the transport, storage and audits in compliance with DNCUs records retention policy. • Ensure compliance with all policies, regulations and procedures. • Other duties as assigned. Level II (To include Level I responsibilities): • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and fixtures (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, and security systems). • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards. • Respond to service requests and resolve facility-related issues across the organization. • Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside vendors and contractors; verify quality and completion of services. • Assist with space planning, furniture setup, branch moves, and small construction/renovation projects. • Maintain facility work order system, documenting repairs, inspections, and project status. • Support branch staff with minor IT/AV setup, office moves, and troubleshooting equipment as needed. • Performs annual audit of DNCU’s physical assets. • Monitor and restock maintenance supplies, tools, and parts inventory. • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, fire/life safety, and credit union policies. • Address facility needs promptly and professionally while providing excellent service. • Assist with the transport, storage and audits in compliance with DNCUs records retention policy.
