Advanced Mechanical Plus is (AMP) seeking Field Service Technicians responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial Hot side, refrigeration and HVAC equipment at our customer locations. Understands refrigeration recovery, evacuation and charging. Inspect repair and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors receiver, condensers chillers water cooling towers, Ice Machines converter units pumps, automatic and hand valves expansion valves and capillary tubes. Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration systems and HVAC heating and ventilation units including boilers. Maintain an effective and safe working conditions maintain parts and inventory Qualifications EDUCATION: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of documentable HVAC maintenance and repair and refrigeration experience. Works weekends, shifts and holidays as required. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Experience working with complex HVAC systems and equipment including chillers, boilers, package units, VAV systems (direct digital, pneumatic and automated control systems). Understands basic refrigeration cycle including and identifying components in refrigeration circuit. Diagnose problems in a refrigeration circuit. Must be able to troubleshoot basic electrical circuits and read basic wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings. Familiar with all applicable codes in OHIO manufactures instructions manuals.
