HVAC INSTALLER - RESIDENTIAL • Assist with the installation of various types of HVAC equipment following company policies and manufacturer’s specifications. • Assist with the Install and/or connection of existing wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment. • Assist with the Install of copper refrigerant lines to heat pump and air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering. • Assist with the various aspects of refrigeration work such as proper refrigerant recovery methods, pressure testing, evacuation, charging and diagnosis of system operation. • Assist with the installation of duct board, flex, and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings. • Assist with the connection of gas lines to heating equipment, making sure it is properly installed and tested for leaks. • Assist with the receiving of all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm, and load them into the company vehicle. • Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time as instructed by management. • Create and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with both superiors and co-workers. • Assist with the paperwork needed for each job, so that it is accurately filled out in a timely manner. • Ensure assigned company vehicle is kept clean. • Perform any other duty that may be directed by management. Requirements • Possession of High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; EPA certification a plus • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. • Must have an honest and dependable personality. • Strong mechanical aptitude. • Strong ability to distinguish between various HVAC equipment. • Self-motivated individual with strong ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a team. • Possession of valid driver’s license with good record of driving. • Ability to pass a criminal background check. • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs., safely. • Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continually. Qualifications include: • Be at least 18 years old • Have a high school diploma or equivalent • Have a reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Punctual: will report to work on time for all scheduled shifts. • Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 certification • Great work ethic • Positive attitude Installers and technicians are subject to work in indoor and outdoor conditions. Those could include, but are not limited to, heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow.
