Commercial HVAC Technician

Air Controls-Billings, Montana's premier HVAC and Refrigeration Service provider is seeking skilled HVAC/R Service Technicians to join our team of experts! Our Technicians not only provide high quality service, installation, diagnosis and repairs, but they serve as the primary communication link between the client and our company. Due to the wide variety of activities, our technicians require a wide range of skills, which include: • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning equipment • Commercial Kitchen, exhausts and make up air units • Small commercial refrigeration, including Walk-Ins and Ice Machines. • Self-contained refrigeration units • Perform preventive maintenance on all types of HVAC/R Equipment • Service a primarily 150-mile radius of home shop Opportunity to expand your experience into: • Supermarket refrigeration, parallel racks • DDC Controls • Cooling towers and boilers • Kitchen equipment including grills, fryers etc. Experience is desirable, but apprenticeship or trade school training will be considered. Hourly wages, range between $24.00-$39.00 per hour, DOE. Our wage packages include profit share, employer paid medical, dental and vision plans. Retirement plans are available through our Union Signatories. Requirements: • Journeyman level experience is desirable, but apprenticeship or trade school experience will be considered. • Self-motivated and dependable • Good DMV and Criminal records • Strong communication skills • Ability to pass a comprehensive drug test • A neat/clean appearance.

Residential HVAC Installer

1. Do you have over 5 years of Residential HVAC installation or service experience? 2. Do you want the ability to retire, and enjoy your future? 3. Our Journeymen earn $39.82 per hour, with a total benefit package worth $23.17 per hour, that includes comprehensive Health Insurance for your entire family, two Pension programs, and a 401k, at no additional cost to you. Must provide your own hand tools. ALL POWER TOOLS AND SPECIALTY TOOLS, ARE SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR. Job Summary: Perform sheet metal job assignments according to State, Local & SMACNA construction standards. Job Qualifications: • Journeymen must have a minimum of 5 years' experience (no exceptions), in Residential HVAC, Sheetmetal and Start-up. • Provide instruction and on-the-job training to less qualified tradespersons, including but not limited to job requirements, quality, and safety. • Have a working knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards. • Lead, manage and support the installation of a quality products. • Work within the guidelines of the safety and employee policies. • Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: • Have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body. • Be able to reach overhead. • Be able to work a full range of physical activities in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, kneeling, bending over, squatting, climbing, and walking for extended periods of time. • Be able to lift 75 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday. • Along with other trade-related activities.
