JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a dependable, hardworking and team player HVAC technician to join our company. The main duties include performing equipment repairs and routine maintenance. Install and test products and provide customers with instructions on the proper usage of the product. A service technician's responsibilities typically involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, and customer communication KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Identifying and resolving technical issues with equipment or systems. • Setting up and configuring new equipment or systems, ensuring proper functionality. • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely. • Identifying the root cause of problems and implementing effective solutions. • Explaining technical issues and repair procedures to customers in a clear and understandable manner. • Maintaining accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities. • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations when working with equipment and tools. • Ordering and managing necessary parts and supplies for repairs. · Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites. • Create cost estimates • Participate in Service “On-Call” schedule and dispatching emergency service. • Promote the company's services. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge and Skills: • High School or equivalent (required) • 1+ year of relevant experience. • Understanding of advanced principals of air conditioning, and heating. • Proficient in reading schematics. • Explain technical information clearly and effectively to customers. • Interact professionally and build rapport with customers. • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized records. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry. • Know how to troubleshoot equipment failures and handle the repairs. • Driver's License (Required) Wage: $20 - $35 per hour depending on experience Work Environment: • Typically work in customers residence or business operational areas. • Work Hours: Flexible but business operation hours are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm • Available to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
