Job Description In this position, the HVAC Install Technician will ensure proper and safe installation of all equipment. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Serving the company’s customers through expert installation of HVAC replacement systems. • Wearing floor savers while in the customer's home. • Using drop cloths to protect the customer's floors while performing an installation and maintaining a neat work area at all times. • Checking each aspect of an installation before leaving the job to prevent unnecessary callbacks. • Explaining the system to the customer when finished with an installation and ensuring that they are 100% satisfied with the work. • Being safety conscious both on the job and while driving. • Performing a full system change-out in 1 day or less. • Ensuring your truck is neat and clean both on the inside and outside at all times. The truck is one of the best billboards that the company has! • Training installation assistants and teaching them to work independently for maximum installation efficiency. • Obey company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules • Have a positive disposition and portray an attitude of willingness Physical Demands: • Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted • Operate handheld power tools • Wear personal protective equipment • Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day Working Environment: • Work outside in all weather conditions • Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for up to 8 hours • The Technician may work in awkward environments and will have to carry all required equipment and supplies at all times.
