HVAC Technician

Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at our oil refinery facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in a challenging industrial environment. Per Diem is included for those that qualify! Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including electrical and mechanical components, refrigerant leaks, and system malfunctions. • Perform emergency repairs as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of critical HVAC systems. • Collaborate with other tradespeople and refinery staff to coordinate HVAC activities with ongoing operations and maintenance projects. Preferred Skills and Expertise • EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants. • Additional certifications in electrical systems, controls, or other related fields. • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). The pay for this role is $48-55/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
