License Electrician

Job Title: North Dakota Licensed Electrician (Journeyman) Location: Bismarck, ND Pay Rate: $50 per hour Per Diem: $150 per day worked (must meet qualification requirements) Schedule: Six 10-hour days per week | 4-month project Job Type: Full-time | In-person Job Summary: We are seeking a licensed North Dakota Journeyman Electrician (NDSEB) to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including pump station hookups. This is a 4-month project requiring a consistent schedule, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to meet per diem qualifications. Responsibilities: • Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follow diagrams/blueprints to ensure proper installation. • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using hand and power tools. • Pull wiring through conduit, assisted by helper. • Splice wires and connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. • Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels. • Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads. • Test continuity of circuits using instruments such as ohmmeter, oscilloscope, or battery/buzzer. • Observe installed equipment for hazards or the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. • Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems as needed. • Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment. • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition. • Comply with all safety procedures and project rules, including LOTO and other protocols. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Must hold a valid North Dakota Electrical License (NDSEB). • Must have an OSHA 10 or higher certificate • Must meet per diem qualification requirements. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous experience as a journeyman electrician in commercial or industrial settings. • Knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, and procedures. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and reliable. • Ability to distinguish colors for wiring and electrical work.
