Perform all equipment preventive maintenance as required by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and preventive maintenance as determined by management. Maintain and organize equipment documentation parts lists, drawings, schematics, PLC programs, repair manuals and maintenance history. Inspect, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical production machinery. Troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs, control circuits, instrumentation, sensors, drives, industrial motors (AC/DC), VFDs and transformers. Must understand of all aspects of the Sorters, Case packers, ADR’s, Baggers, Palletizer and Wrapper. Assist outside contractors as needed. Install new or revised equipment or devices. Forecast any probable future issues that may cause downtime. Train new employees as required. Participate in Six Sigma projects and carry out new innovative ways pertaining to maintenance to help reduce downtime, cost and waste. To maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
