Industrial Electrician - Direct Hire at $34.25/hr. with great benefits

Primary Responsibilities • Performs any combination of (but not limited to) the following duties according to specific department guidelines: • Determine the existence of electrical hazards and problems. Safely isolate, ground, and prepare circuits and electrical apparatus to enable repairs. • Have knowledge of and use the required personal protective equipment to protect against arc flash and shock. • Experience in reading and troubleshooting from blueprints & schematics with system voltages 240 and 480 three-phase systems. • Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment. • Read/interpret engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate and maintain electrical apparatus. Work from complex engineering and manufacturers drawings or manuals to complete projects and assigned work. • Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring. • Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment to such as multi-meters, ammeters, megohm meters, high potential testers, oscilloscopes, digital probes to troubleshoot and repair equipment. • Use hand and power tools related to the electrical trades. • Install and maintain control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels. • Install and maintain drive systems such as variable frequency drives, eddy current, and DC drives. • Install and maintain (point to point wiring, equipment replacement) programmable logic control systems (PLC). • Install and calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level controls. #COE-EN-PN Job Type: Full-time Pay: $34.25 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person

Journeyman Electrician - (Trenton, NJ)

About the position Responsibilities • Install complete electrical raceways systems such as EMT, RMC, PVC, cable tray, troughs and more. • Install wires and cables through electrical raceways. • Install panelboards, switchboards, switchgears, MCC, and control panels. • Install various forms of switching and receptacle outlet devices. • Troubleshoot electrical and controls circuitry and devices up to 480VAC. • Install various forms of luminaires. • Ensure all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). • Install motors, transformers, and generators. • Install communications, ethernet, and fiber optic lines. • Install VFDs, PLC, control relays, power supplies, safety relays, proximity switches, and other instrumentation and control devices. • Test electrical systems installation to ensure proper installation and operation. • Connect electrical systems to utility power. • Participate in continuous safety and electrical education. • Travel to different job sites. • Work overtime, nights, weekends and or holidays as needed. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings. • Knowledge of electrical systems. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. • Ability to use the NEC code book. • Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment. • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to troubleshoot power and control circuits. • Ability to bend various size conduits. • Ability to program VFDs and PLC is a plus. • High School diploma or equivalent. • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or at least five (5) years of experience working in the electrical industry.
