Industrial Maintenance Technician Facility: Trenton Plants General Description The Industrial Maintenance Technician performs the necessary duties for machine maintenance and troubleshooting electrical systems. Specific Duties Follow all applicable environmental, health and safety rules and procedures and immediately report all dangerous situations, near-misses, and injuries. Participate in developing and updating risk assessments and review all applicable risk assessments annually. Install fixtures, motors, and other electrical equipment as necessary. Troubleshoot machine controls, motors, equipment, and associated wiring. Repair lighting and power circuitry, and associated equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Inventory and order electrical material for shop stock. Order proper materials for job completion. Tag out and lockout procedures. Complete required records for work performed. Perform planned maintenance inspections, as required. Maintain equipment to ensure maximum reliability. Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and repair all process and plant equipment, as necessary.
