They will be responsible for providing on-site direction and leadership for workers to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, time requirements, and budget considerations Responsibilities • Installing and terminating Distribution Centers, Panel Boards, Service Entrance Section, Transformers, Disconnects and motor controls • Skillfully planning, scheduling, and organizing tasks in an effective manner to meet job deadlines • Maintaining and properly storing all tools, materials, and equipment and demonstrates proper use and safe handling of these items in the field • Consistently reporting to assigned job on time and as directed • Evaluating electrical specifications and performance criteria Qualifications • Interpret electrical construction blueprints and draw wiring sketches • Work with live/energized parts and possesses the technical knowledge to do this safely • Maintain personal hand tools per company policy • Have a “Safety First” mentality • Read and understand special systems, security, and fire alarms • Evaluating electrical specifications and performance criteria • Travel within the Southeastern US and have a valid driver’s license • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds • Climb ladders, bend, and stoop • Ability to work with limited supervision • 3-5 years experience as an Electrical Foreman • 6-10 years of proven Commercial Electrical experience • Proficient in installing and terminating Distribution Centers, Panel Boards, Service Entrance Section, Transformers, Disconnects and motor controls • Must have worked in most or all of the following environments; Schools, office space, healthcare facilities, retail - both Big Box retail and/or Strip Centers • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Time Management skills are imperative • Intermediate computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook • Must be computer savvy with spreadsheets, sending pictures, Excel & Word programs Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
